Richard Bennett is DC comedy’s tallest performer, standing 5’19”. Raised in CT, he’s comedically hailing from Washington, DC.
Richard started performing in the fall of 2012 and has made his way through venues such as the DC Improv, the VA State Theater, Broadway Comedy Club, & Greenwich Village Comedy Club.
He’s co-founder of LYGO DC and a regular contributor to the blog as author of the Zomblog, Why Tipping 30% is Better than 10, and other assorted thoughts and posts.
Update: Richard met his wife in 2014 and left the stage in 2015 to start a family and focus on providing for 4 kids (and counting)… he’s enjoying that family and only secretly pining for the days of telling terrible jokes at open mics!
